What we collect
When you choose to create a profile, Google verifies your account identity and provides your name and primary email. We also ask for your university, degree or program, study level, expected graduation year, country, primary goal, and consent.
Why we collect it
We use these details to administer your Student Hub profile, understand the student audience, prevent duplicate profiles, and support future personalized guidance that remains within Student Hub’s purpose.
Where it is stored
Account and profile information is stored in a private PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon and controlled by the Student Hub owner. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Database credentials are stored as protected server-side settings on Vercel and are not sent to visitors’ browsers.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for Google passwords, phone numbers, home addresses, dates of birth, national identifiers, payment information, Gmail, contacts, or files.
Your choices
Browsing public resources does not require a profile. You may request correction or deletion of your profile by contacting the Student Hub owner. Contact details will be added before a wider public launch.
Providers
Google provides sign-in. Neon provides database storage. Vercel hosts the website. Their handling of technical service data is governed by their respective policies.
